I am very honored and excited to find out that I was selected to be part of three art exhibitions in and out of Texas this summer! Congratulations to all the finalists selected into these amazing art exhibitions. If anyone is in the area, please stop by and enjoy the show. 🙂
I was just notified today that Autumn Reflections were selected to be part of this exhibition! 🙂 I am very honored to have my work juried by Eric Lee, the director of the Kimball Art Museum. The show opens at Artspace 111 Gallery in downtown Ft. Worth from June 24 to August 6, 2016.
This was my first year trying for their international exhibition and was surprised and thrilled to be selected as one of the 120 artists! The exhibition opens from June 25 to August 13, 2016 at the American Art Company in Tacoma, WA. Ripple Effect, shown below, is the piece that will be exhibited.
Texas Big 10 for Art
Last week, I learned that I was selected to be one of the top 10 the finalist for Texas Big 10 for Art in 0-5 year category. This is an art competition with a very unique concept where they judge art based on the years of experience as opposed to the medium. 2D and 3D artists of all mediums across Texas competed within the same age experience group category for the judging so I was surprised to make it as the finalist. The finalists’ work will be displayed at Katy Contemporary Arts Museum in Katy, TX from July 20 through September 4, 2016. Two of my favorite pieces, Take the ‘A’ Train and A Mountain Stream near Guanella Pass will be exhibited.
