Pet Portrait Workshop:

Learn to draw life-like portraits of your furry friend! In this 3-day workshop, we will go through how to breathe life into the eyes, create a realistic nose & mouth, and render touch-me soft fur!  Previous drawing experience (in any subject matter) is a plus.

Ages:                  12 and up

Fee:                     $200 plus supplies


Supply List

  • Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set, 72 color or larger – 132 color set is highly recommended
  • Drawing Board, large enough for 9″x12″ paper
  • Graphite Pencils in HB and 2B
  • Vinyl Eraser (white block style eraser)
  • 12″ Ruler
  • A Reference photo, printed in letter-sized paper

We will have 1hr lunch break on Saturday.  Adults students are welcome to go anywhere in the downtown to have lunch.  I will be happy to take school-aged students to Butcherboard restaurant across the street.  Students are responsible for their own lunch so please have them bring lunch money.  If they prefer to be on their own during the lunch time, they will requite a written notice from the parents.
