31st Annual Texas and Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition

Hello Everyone!

Yesterday I was at the 31st Texas and Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition.  This is a 5-state wide regional show where only 80 artwork were selected out of 499 entries.  I was delighted to see 5 colored pencil pieces selected into the show, two of which are amazing portraits done by Jesse Lane and Linda Luca Hardy.  I had the honor to meet them in person and even snap a few photos with them! 🙂  Jesse Lane won the best of show with his stunning and dramatic portrait Echoes, and Linda Lucas Hardy won 1st place in Drawing category with her exquisite portrait of The Fragility of Lives and Dreams.

I was simply stunned, surprised and very honored to learn that my landscape piece, Autumn Reflections, received 2nd place in the Drawing category.  This is my second year receiving an award from Texas & Neighbors show.  Needless to say, I am super happy and excited!
